Upstream Data specializes in the design and fabrication of innovative oilfield and manufacturing solutions. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Hand to join our Casper, Wyoming facility. Position Overview
The Shop Hand supports daily shop operations including fabrication preparation, shipping/receiving, documentation, and general shop duties. The ideal candidate has oilfield fabrication experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and lead by example in maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Assist with preparing orders, including picking parts and assembling work packages.
• Prepare materials, stage components for assembly, and support production requirements.
• Collaborate with the manager on workflow and production needs.
• Support continuous improvement of shop processes and procedures.
• Complete required documentation in a clear and accurate manner.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading materials or equipment.
• Prepare completed repairs for shipment, including documentation, photos, packaging, and quality checks.
• Maintain general housekeeping, scrap disposal, and other daily operational tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support shop operations.
• Maintain required safety certifications for any applicable field work.

Qualifications

• Experience in oilfield building fabrication.
• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Valid driver's license with ability to provide a clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours

• 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
• 8:00 a.m. start time; 30-minute lunch break.
• Timesheets required for all hours worked.
