About the job:

I'm partnering with an excellent client in Casper, Wyoming, seeking a Permitting Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on managing consultants, supporting operations, and preparing critical documents like state licenses, mine permits, and plans of operation.

Benefits and Pay Range:

• $70,000- $85,000

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Permit Preparation: Prepare and submit permits, assessments, and reports for ISR uranium mining under state and federal regulations.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Track regulatory updates and ensure site compliance; maintain compliance records and reports.
• Agency Liaison: Act as the primary contact with regulatory agencies, representing the company in meetings, hearings, and inspections.
• Internal Coordination: Work with teams to align projects with regulatory and permitting requirements.
• Compliance Reporting: Submit required reports and maintain documentation to support audits and regulatory needs.
• Site Inspections: Conduct inspections, identify compliance issues, and manage corrective actions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, Geology, Engineering, or a related field; experience in the energy/mining industry a plus.
• Minimum of 3 yrs of experience
• Strong knowledge of NRC and EPA
